LDC-E8102 — Dependency above the package layer

What it means

Not emitted on any current engine surface.

This code fires at lock time, when a dependency declares a layer above the package that imports it — but the lock assembly keeps only the diagnostic messages and drops the code, so the refusal always arrives without its code attached. If you meet the situation in real output, read it as “this dependency stands on a higher layer than the package” and either raise the package layer or replace the dependency.
