All routes carry the bytes of the same release. The npm package is a thin launcher: the platform package holds the binary.
Check the install

answer your questions. The last line is the hash of those bytes.
Two version numbers
Section titled “Two version numbers”The terminals on these pages were recorded with tool 0.1.1,
carried by launcher 0.1.4. The launcher only delivers the
bytes; what a command prints depends on the tool version, so when two
installs disagree, compare the first line of law version first.
