# anchors How model nodes are pinned to the source text. Each row binds a `node` to a fragment (`anchor`) and resolves the act and the `locator` through the fragment's edition. An anchor proves that the author pinned a passage. It does not prove that the passage says what the rule claims, or that the pinned edition was in force for the case at hand. ## Fields From the live dictionary on the reference fixture: | field | |---| | `node` | | `anchor` | | `act` | | `locator` | | `package` | | `path` | ## Example One meaningful query on the reference fixture (1 rows): ```lawq from a in anchors select a.node as node, a.locator as locator ```
