# nodes Every node of the compiled model appears here once: rules, relations, types, norms, interpretations, source editions, fragments. The `kind` of each row comes from the normative schema, so a document with an undeclared kind is refused instead of silently dropped. A `nodes` row proves that the node exists in the model. It proves nothing about whether a rule fires, whether a norm binds anyone, or whether the author read the source correctly. ## Fields From the live dictionary on the reference fixture: | field | |---| | `id` | | `kind` | | `package` | | `package_name` | | `path` | ## Example One meaningful query on the reference fixture (6 rows): ```lawq from n in package("demo.lawqlbase").nodes where n.kind == "rule" select n.id as id ```
