# edges Positional references between nodes: whenever a field of one node holds the identifier of another, one row records the pair and the field path as `role`. Both directions are reachable by filtering `from` or `to`. Edges carry no meaning of their own — an alias, a subtype step, a head use and a body use all look the same here. For the typed reading use the links relation instead. ## Fields From the live dictionary on the reference fixture: | field | |---| | `from` | | `to` | | `role` | | `package` | | `path` | ## Example One meaningful query on the reference fixture (36 rows): ```lawq from e in edges select e.from as f, e.role as r, e.to as t ```
