# LPK-E0701 — replay set empty, lost, or not found ## What it means Replaying means running saved calculations again under a changed project and comparing answers. The set of saved calculations must be presented explicitly — directories of saved outputs or a journal — and an empty, missing, or lost set proves nothing, so the command refuses rather than passing vacuously. Nothing is created or changed by the refusal. Presenting the directories produced by asking with an output directory, or the journal to replay, is the whole fix. ## Example ```pkgtest {"files": {}, "cmd": ["case", "diff", ".", "."], "expect": "LPK-E0701"} ``` ## Fix ```pkgtest {"files": {}, "cmd": ["init", ".", "--name", "demo.diag"]} ``` ## Engine message The tool reports this in its own wording: ```text law: REFUSAL LPK-E0701: .: no saved evaluations ``` ## Related - [Package, context, snapshots](/recipes/n-package/) — what a project directory holds.
