# LDC-Q2001 — The query reads a relation the snapshot does not have ## What it means Every source in a query names a relation — the table of rows to read, such as rules, nodes, or labels. The snapshot carries a fixed set of relations, and the engine checks each name against that set before reading anything. An unknown name stops the query, and the message lists the relations that do exist, so a typo is easy to spot. Pick the intended relation from the listed names. When the data really lives elsewhere, point the source at the right package instead of renaming the relation. ## Example ```lawql from r in nosuchrelation select r ``` ## Fix ```lawql from r in rules select r ``` ## Engine message The engine reports this in its own wording: ```text LDC-Q2001: unknown relation 'nosuchrelation'. Hint: available: anchors, edges, fields, imports, interpretations, labels, links, literals, nodes, norms, positions, rules, variables, windows ``` ## Related - [Questions to the engine](/constructs/queries/) — the relations a snapshot carries.
