# LDC-E1112 — Two versions of one package in a world

## What it means

Not triggerable in a hermetic recipe.

One closure carries one version of each package: when the world assembly meets the same package name twice — two versions, or two byte-divergent builds of one version — identity splits and the link stops with this diagnostic (`world_pin_diagnostics`). Reaching it needs a multi-package world whose pins disagree, which the single-file check never builds. If you meet the code in real output, read it as "the closure disagrees about this package" and align the pins to one version with one bytes.
