# Case-lifecycle inputs: the lab note and the editing lockfile

Pinned inputs for the Case lifecycle trace (article 14). The trace
also uses the GUM project snapshot in `../task-guides/`.

## Files

- `incoming/note-n7.txt` — the lab note the trace pins as a
  document. Provenance: REPLACEMENT bytes written for this bundle
  (the author's scratch original is gone). The trace mechanics do
  not depend on the note's bytes — `document add` pins whatever
  bytes it is given — but expect a different `contentHash` than
  the `sha256:bc8999e9…` prefix quoted in the article (observed
  here: `sha256:80b44b6a…`).
- `law.lock.0.2.json` — the editing lockfile. Provenance:
  generated from the snapshot's `law.lock` (lockVersion 0.1) by
  setting `"lockVersion": "0.2"` and adding `"resources": []`;
  semantically identical otherwise (verified by JSON comparison).
  The editing commands require lock 0.2 with a `resources`
  array, which the committed example does not have.

## How to run (checkout-only)

Assemble a scratch copy, then follow the article's commands
verbatim. The `./law` CLI (built engine) comes from a full
checkout, so the archive alone is not enough.

```bash
cp -r files/task-guides/otchet-neopredelennosti /tmp/gum-life
cp files/lifecycle/law.lock.0.2.json /tmp/gum-life/law.lock
mkdir -p /tmp/gum-life/incoming
cp files/lifecycle/incoming/note-n7.txt /tmp/gum-life/incoming/
cd /tmp/gum-life
law case document add incoming/note-n7.txt --case KVybranChelovekom \
  --as note_n7 --type jcgm.gum::Input \
  --observed 2026-10-01T09:00:00+05:00 --recorded 2026-10-01T09:05:00+05:00
law ask . --case KVybranChelovekom \
  --query-json queries/chislo-vkhodov.json --out r1
# input_count → 2 (COMPUTED)
# ... propose (p-0001), accept, ask r2 → 3, replace (p-0002),
# ask r2b → 2, accept, ask r3 → 3, check, diff — as in the article
```

Verified 2026-10-04 on exactly this assembly: proposal `p-0001`
added, acceptance shapes match the article, values move
2 → 3 → 2 → 3 across r1/r2/r2b/r3, `law case check` returns all
16 questions `COMPUTED` (`chislo-vkhodov` → 3,
`chislo-vkladov` → 2).
